Subject: Aurizon Hand Held Fish Finder
Comment: STAY AWAY FROM AURIZON TECHNOLOGY !!!! I bought one of the small yellow hand held FL-1000 fish finders from Aurizon over a year ago. I returned it after a few weeks because it didn't work. The display and case were similar to what you might find in a kids toy. I was trying to use the depth finder for ice fishing and the unit would not work in the cold. I contacted the company several times to try to fix the problem and they would only return 1 out of 10 emails I would send. When I originally purchased the unit it was said to be on sale, but I was charged full price and had to dispute charges with my credit card company. Nightmare. A friend of mine also order one around the same time I did and was charged the full price twice on his credit card and didn't receive any fish finder 3 weeks after I had received mine. He had to contact Aurizon and clear things up with his credit card company as well. Luckily he canceled the entire transaction and walked away without any further problems. I wish I had done the same. I then went to return the fish finder back to Australia where Aurizon is located and they claim that they haven't received the returned product yet. It has been over a year and I still haven't received my refund. And they don't return any of my emails now. I am pretty sure they have a delete email message rule set up for my email address. And if you think you are going to get the NEW hand held depth finder for free as their website claims, keep dreaming. I ordered the depth finder over a year ago and have yet to receive a refund or the NEW depth finder. It is just a hook to get you to buy one of their depth finders and then your entire experience with this company takes on a whole new meaning. Stay Away and buyer be warned....
