the Caracal pistol is the first pistol made in the United Arab Emirates. A certificate was issued by the Federal German Armed Forces Testing House WTD 91 in Meppen, Germany in May 2006 after the pistol successfully complied with the NATO D14 standard, the Federal Police Standard and the Federal Armed Forces Technical Purchasing requirements.
